About RFCC

Our Philosophy
The family is the single unit at the core of the community.  We believe that by healing families, we can heal communities at large, eventually restoring peace to our beloved country, Uganda.

RFCC Uganda works to rebuild the community by beginning with the family.  We work to empower the community in the wake of over 25 years of conflict and struggle.  Peace and reconciliation do not come easily, but together it can be achieved.

Founded in 2011 in Gulu, Uganda, RFCC has been working on strengthening its mission and capabilities to affect change in Northern Uganda.  RFCC was founded by Nyakato Rose, who has spent years working in Northern Uganda on various psychosocial healing and trauma counseling programs.  Rose currently runs RFCC Uganda and is based in Gulu.
